Amir Hali BOptom, MOptom,GradCertOcTher (UNSW)
Amir has practiced for over 12 years in Australia and the UK. Qualified in Optometry at the University of NSW and London’s City University, he is also a clinical supervisor and teaches Ocular Therapeutics at UNSW training Optometrists of the future. He is also completing his Masters degree with outstanding results. Amir works directly with Ophthalmologists and speaks fluent Iranian.
Dr. Meesha Perera B.Optm/BSC (Hons) (UNSW)
Meesha managed Granata Eyecare for two years following many years working in the profession and is currently on maternity leave, returning mid 2018. She is therapeutically endorsed and has a keen interest in ocular diseases such as Glaucoma and Macula Degeneration. She has written a scientific paper for the Journal of Optometry and Vision Science under the American Academy of Optometry on her area of interest, Orthokeratology. She is passionate about providing the best possible eye care for her patients.
John Granata BOptom (Hons) (UNSW)
John is our longest practicing Optometrist at Granata Eyecare as he started the business in 1974. He is available for consultation on Thursdays and his loyal patient base agree that the service and personal attention our Optometrists provide remains an integral part of Granata Eyecare.
Lorelle Wagner, Optical Dispenser
Lorelle has been working in the optical industry for many years and has been part of our team at Granata Eyecare since 2009. Lorelle is a fully qualified optical dispenser and has a keen interest in multifocals and premium sun protection. Granata Eyecare uses the latest lens design technology sourced from a boutique lens laboratory based in Australia and Lorelle is passionate about providing patients with optimum lenses for their individual needs.
Tracey Bruce, Optical Assistant
Tracey has worked in the practice for many years and enjoys welcoming the many patients who keep returning for that personalised service provided by Granata Eyecare. She also enjoys helping patients choose frames from our constantly changing designer and budget ranges of spectacles and sunglasses.
